Cover crops prevent soil erosion

Here at Warrior Farms we are getting ready for our cover crops. Cover crops are planted primarily to manage soil erosion, soil fertility, soil quality, water, weeds, pests, diseases, biodiversity and wildlife in an agro-ecosystem.

Propagating Crops – Making more, wasting less

A smaller task on a farm that a lot of people might not know about is called propagating. With propagating, you take an existing plant, take a cutting from it, re-root it, and put it in water or soil using a root hormone and create a whole new plant from it!
