We are currently in the process of building a new turkey coop here at Warrior Farms. We are receiving in 10 Spanish Black turkeys in February and need a place to house this heritage breed species.
Waste not. Want not.
We are currently using re-purposed material from other projects at the farm, including pallets, wood from an old deck, and many materials that were donated by local marine vets and Southern Concrete Supply.
Our biggest goal is coming to fruition!
Building a turkey coop is one of the biggest goals that we are striving for in the new year and something that we can easily accomplish with enough donations and volunteers!
